DBA Pens

I had this video running at different times on two different pages and the lady’s voice started to mess with my mind. Makes for a good time if you’re bored. I’ve been wondering lately if such a thing as this -a ‘green’ pen- exists, and then stumbled upon this video in the midst of some blog-hopping. I love infographics, and thought these were pretty super neat. Also the logo is quite smashing. (I apologize for the poor linking job on the video, there was a lot of yelling at the computer, wasted time, and so this is the best I could do).

Boarding Pass Makeover

So when I first began my blog I had a few requests to post something about type when I was blogging more frequently. First of all, this meant someone else other than myself was reading my blog which even now puts a big ole smile on my face. Well I’m hoping I’ll have a bit more time to keep this thing going on the regular, so I thought I’d turn the page by fulfilling these requests. And here goes…

Tyler Thompson did a real stellar job of updating the Delta Airlines boarding pass, amazing how good type can transform an image. He describes his rationale quite well if you’re interested.
